Seaweed Cyanotypes, after Anna Atkins
Making the most of a bright sunny day and making some cyanptypes with the seaweed I collected at Robin Hoods Bay last weekend. I applied cynanotype chemicals to Egyptian cotton, allowed it to dry over night and then exposed it to the sun with a piece of glass to stop the seaweed from blowing away.
I'm very happy with these beautiful, finely detailed cyanotypes.
