Corn Cyanotype

The sun has gone in now, or rather the clouds have arrived, so no more cyanotypes today, but I am pleased with this corn cyanotype on fabric. As the field nearest the house has just been harvested, I was able to pick the plants left around the edge. Their 3D shape makes it difficult to get them to lie flat. The shadow they cast, along with the movement of the sun over a 10 minute exposure leaves the different tones around the objects. unfortunateoly I forgot to centre the glass so I have a line along the bottom
